PohlCon showcased its complete WCPS portfolio in Düsseldorf.
The Mobile Robotics Summit 2025, held on 8 and 9 October in Düsseldorf, was once again an important industry gathering for experts in robotics, automation and digitalisation. Around 2,000 visitors took the opportunity to find out about new technologies and practical solutions for mobile robotics.
PohlCon was there with its technology partner Wiferion and gave an impressive demonstration of how wireless charging infrastructure can be efficiently integrated into mobile robotics operations.
All WCPS systems on display
PohlCon showcased all three versions of its Wireless Charging Protection System (WCPS) at the trade fair: the in-ground, raised floor and top floor plateau systems. The plateau solution attracted particular attention in the open-air area, where it was used in live operation with autonomous vehicles. Visitors were able to experience how mobile robots are charged contactlessly – embedded in a real fleet management scenario.
Market shows maturity – discussions at project level
A notable trend at the trade fair was the high quality of the technical discussions: many visitors – especially those from the industrial services and automation integration sectors – came with very specific requirements and project ideas. The days of providing basic information about wireless charging are over: the industry has matured significantly, and decision-makers now know exactly what they need.
Another highlight of the trade fair was the live demo at our stand in cooperation with Omron integrator ERT Solution: a mobile robot with a cobot arm presented the backlit cover of our WCPS in-ground system, which attracted numerous visitors as an eye-catcher.
The Mobile Robotics Summit 2025 impressively demonstrated that wireless charging infrastructure has arrived on the market. We are delighted to be right at the heart of it with concrete solutions and practical demonstrations.
