KUNEX® star pipes made of thermoplastic polymer (PVC-P) are used to create and seal dummy joints and crack control joints in in-situ concrete or precast wall structures. Star tubes consist of a soft PVC casing with four stop anchors and two crack guide lips. The star tube casing is stabilised by a hard PVC internal tube. The two crack-formation lips form cracks at predetermined points, which the four stop anchors seal simultaneously.
