Double Shear Dowel JDSD

JDSD and JDSDQ double shear connectors have integrated cross dowels that ensure optimum pressure distribution in the expansion joint and the adjacent concrete slabs. The double shear connectors are ideal for the uniform transmission of very high transverse forces while retaining a large range of movement. JDSD double shear connectors are mainly used for movements in longitudinal directions and JDSDQ double shear dowels for movements in longitudinal and transverse directions. In combination with the matching JBRM fire protection collars, they achieve a fire resistance duration of 120 minutes (R120) in accordance with DIN EN 13501-2. The system is therefore highly fire resistant in case of fire.
