PENTAFLEX® FTS crack control elements for precast walls consist of PENTAFLEX KB® joint sheets with the proven special coating and a wing made of galvanised sheet steel. This weakens the concrete cross-section and also allows the sealing plate to be attached. This creates predetermined cracks in precast walls. The sealing element seals the resulting crack against pressurised and unpressurised water. This stops shrinkage cracks from occurring randomly – instead they form at the planned points, which are also immediately sealed.
