Mesh cable trays are used in a range of sectors, including industrial and mechanical engineering, as well as in data centres and server rooms. The open design prevents heat build-up and allows dirt to fall through more easily, for example, thereby minimising deposits. The stainless steel variants are used in the food industry, amongst other sectors. Here, the open design is advantageous for cleaning and hygiene measures. In addition, low-profile mesh cable trays can also be used in raised floors.
Flat, structured, versatile
To cater for this application, we have expanded our portfolio to include the new G 35 with an exceptionally low side height of just 35 mm. Cables are often laid directly in the raised floor, which quickly leads to a cluttered and untidy appearance. With the G 35, cables can be routed cleanly and in an organised manner within the raised floor. Here, the synergies between cable tray and floor installation systems can be utilised to great effect.
The G 35 is connected using the specially designed GVE connector. Additional accessories available include the GTR 35 divider and the GBHKK short spacer bracket.
6,000 metres of the new G 35 have already been installed in raised floors as part of a highly prestigious project: Volkswagen’s new PowerCo battery factory in Salzgitter. We look forward to many more applications of this kind.
