The load-bearing thermal insulation element ISOMUR® plus is suitable for the lower and/or upper area of the masonry. It provides efficient thermal insulation and has a high load-bearing capacity in accordance with ETA-18/1063. The characteristic compressive strength is ≥ 25.0 N/mm². ISOMUR® plus elements can be installed in seismic zones 1-3 according to DIN EN 1998-1, Eurocode 8. The element consists of foamed polystyrene with an integrated load-bearing structure made of high-strength lightweight concrete. It is 600 mm long and 115 to 240 mm wide.
