The Löwenherz Children's Hospice helps seriously ill children and their families. With our Christmas donation this year, we are supporting the outpatient centre in Lüneburg.
The Löwenherz Children's Hospice in Syke near Bremen takes in children, teenagers and young adults with life-shortening illnesses for which a cure is impossible according to the current state of medical science. It offers both inpatient and outpatient care that goes far beyond medical treatment. In addition to palliative care and medical treatment, it also offers information events, bereavement support and prenatal counselling for parents with seriously ill unborn children.
To support this valuable work, we have decided to donate this year's PohlCon Christmas donation to the outpatient centre in Lüneburg. As we opened a new branch in Lüneburg this year, the decision to support the Löwenherz Children's Hospice is also an expression of our connection to the region.
