We look back with satisfaction on Light + Building 2026, which took place in Frankfurt from 8 to 13 March. Six intense days are now behind us, six days full of discussions, networking and new ideas. Over 1,900 exhibitors from 49 countries and nearly 142,000 trade visitors attended the leading trade fair for lighting, electrical engineering and modern building technology – many of whom also visited the PohlCon stand.
Light + Building provided us with an excellent platform to exchange ideas with planners, architects, installers, the press and partners from trade and industry. Visitors to our stand were able to see for themselves the functionality and diversity of our products and systems – from robust cable support structures for a wide range of applications to innovative underfloor solutions for efficient power and data supply in modern working environments.
Our new products at the trade fair
Our new UKO duct system, which is covered by screed, attracted a great deal of interest. The removable duct covers allow access to the cable routing as early as the structural work phase, which significantly simplifies processes on the construction site. Our solution for cable routing on roof surfaces, consisting of moulded blocks and heavy-duty cable trays, also drew numerous interested visitors. Our ‘demonstration table’ also gave visitors the opportunity to test the ease of installation of our cable tray elements for themselves and experience it in practice.
A resounding success
Looking back, our overall assessment of the trade fair is thoroughly positive. The PohlCon stand proved a popular photo opportunity and received much praise for its high-quality and attractive design. Through their professional demeanour and expertise, our staff underlined PohlCon’s claim to be the ‘partner from start to future’. The presence of the managing directors and representatives of our foreign subsidiaries also highlighted our international character and our cross-border operations as the PohlCon Group.
We would like to thank our guests and visitors for the stimulating discussions and the many new ideas. We look forward to continuing the conversations we have started and launching new projects together. Special thanks also go to our colleagues, who played a key role in the success of our trade fair appearance.
