On 11 June, we had a special reason to celebrate: our branch in Glauchau marked its 30th anniversary.
Employees, customers and partners turned out in large numbers to join in the celebrations. Guests were treated to a varied programme: Guided tours of the warehouse and office premises offered insights into work processes and warehouse organisation. In addition, there was a look back at past projects and the company’s development, and current and future plans were discussed in personal conversations. The celebration provided a good opportunity to strengthen existing business relationships and forge new contacts. Regional specialities ensured that the guests were well catered for.
A Look Back
What began in 1996 as a small site has developed over the years into a high-performance branch Mitteldeutschland with its own fleet of vehicles.
In 1996, a branch with a warehouse and, initially, six workstations was established in Glauchau, stemming from PUK Werke Kunststoff- und Stahlverarbeitungs GmbH & Co. KG in Chemnitz. The growing demand for our products necessitated additional staff and storage capacity – the number of employees grew and the premises were continuously expanded. In 2011, the Glauchau and Rudolstadt branches merged; since then, the Thuringia sales region has been managed from Glauchau. Investments in the following years have shaped the site’s current appearance.
Currently, 16 staff members at the branch in Glauchau look after our customers’ needs. A delivery concept using our own lorries ensures fast and efficient logistics within the region and beyond.
