For us, 2025 was all about growing together – across national borders and with an increasingly clear brand identity.
An important milestone was the uniform brand identity of our international locations. The two Dutch companies kicked things off in January, followed by Spain and the United Kingdom in the summer. The global rebranding will continue in the coming year: the USA, Canada and Austria will join at the beginning of the year, followed later by Poland and Turkey. This brings our guiding principle of ‘One name, one brand, one company’ within reach.
Greater presence on international stages
We were also seen much more frequently on the major industry platforms in 2025. Whether at Big 5 Global in Dubai, Matelec in Madrid, Robotworld in Seoul or KazBuild in Almaty – our teams were present worldwide. But we also had a strong presence at trade fairs within the country, including BAU 2025 and Intersolar Europe in Munich, Stuva in Hamburg and efa:on in Leipzig.
One particular highlight is already looming large: Light + Building in March 2026. For our cable support division, this is the most important date of the year and an ideal stage to showcase what PohlCon stands for: high-quality products, expert technical advice and reliable services from a single source. Market requirements are changing, and digital tools and complementary services are becoming increasingly important – a transformation that we are actively helping to shape.
Investments in locations and technology
Internally, we have also used the year to set the course for the future. Our production capacities have been expanded once again – including a new laser in Trebbin and a modern ladder welding machine in Berlin. In northern Germany, we have created a central hub with a new branch and a large warehouse in Lüneburg. The previous locations on the coast (Schwerin) and in northern Germany (Schwülper) have been consolidated there in order to serve our customers even more efficiently in the future.
New websites for PohlCon and PohlCon Solar
Another important step was the launch of our new company website on 20 May. It has a clearer structure, is more intuitive to use and strengthens the recognition value of our brand image – in line with our claim ‘Partner from start to future’. Since September, PohlCon Solar has also had a modern website and is fully integrated into the central PohlCon presence.
We are also proud of this year's fantastic reference projects, such as the Stadtforum Dresden, the Brügelmannstraße grammar school in Cologne and the Recke solar park. We look forward to more challenging and exciting projects next year. But first, we are taking a break for Christmas: we will be closed from 24 December to 2 January inclusive.
