Formwork bodies are used when installing screed-covered underfloor duct systems. They are placed as lost formwork in false screed junction boxes, installation covers or on unfinished concrete where they serve as placeholders for later installation units. After being inserted into the opening of the cover plate, they form solid units with the screed junction boxes. The formwork bodies are available in different variants: as formwork tubes and formwork bodies in round or square shapes, made of plastic-coated polystyrene or cardboard. Heat-resistant formwork bodies made of sheet steel are also available for installation in asphalt and terrazzo.
