Single-support system for single and double-row solar installations
Our single-support system for open-space installations is particularly efficient and especially suitable for difficult ground conditions. It is suitable for single and double-row solar installations, both with horizontal and vertical alignment of the photovoltaic modules. The single-support system is an extremely robust PV substructure with a diagonal strut. It can be used worldwide and impresses with its simple structure and high adaptability.
Thanks to the reduced number of supports, the system is ideal for projects with limited budgets or challenging ground conditions. It enables quick installation and minimizes the effort required for pre-drilling – a clear advantage for the cost-effective implementation of open-space systems.
Main advantages of single-support systems
-
Flexible module selection – ideal for solar project planning
As with all PohlCon systems, the module type and configuration can be freely selected. This allows for maximum flexibility when planning open-space installations and can be optimally adapted to the individual requirements of your project.
-
Optimized for difficult ground conditions
The single-support system is particularly suitable for hard or stony ground where direct pile driving is not possible. Instead, pre-drilling is required—a costly step that is significantly offset by the reduced number of supports. This means that economical solutions can be implemented even on ground that is difficult to pile drive.
-
Fewer supports, lower costs
Although the supports are more solidly designed due to higher bending moments, their number is significantly reduced. This saves material costs, assembly time, and costs for pre-drilling and pile driving—a clear advantage for cost optimization in solar project planning.

Beekweg solar park
The solar park Beekweg in the Dutch municipality Reuver went into operation in September 2023. The total of 8,400 solar panels generate an electrical output of up to 5.0 megawatts at peak times. With the forecast annual production of 2.3 million KWh, more than 1,700 households can be supplied with electricity.

Pater Eustachiuslaan solar park
In 2023, the approximately 8-hectare Pater Eustachiuslaan solar park in the Dutch town of Aarle-Rixtel (municipality of Laarbeck) went into operation. The total of 14,000 solar panels generate an electrical output of up to 8.5 megawatts. Thanks to the ground-mounted photovoltaic system, 2,900 households can be supplied with electricity over the course of a year.
