The Berlin skyline is growing and another building was added in November 2023. With the 142 m high EDGE East Side Tower Berlin near ‘Warschauer Brücke’, one of Berlin's tallest buildings was built in just under 4 years. Particularly striking: the staircase-like curtain wall with almost complete glazing.
The building has a total of 65,000 sqm of usable space. In addition to office spaces, publicly accessible event rooms, restaurants and cafés are also planned. The 36 floors are accessible via 14 elevators. Some of these reach a speed of 21.6 km/h and transport people from the ground floor to the top floor in 20.6 seconds.
PohlCon was also able to install its products in this major Berlin project. Almost 2,500 meters of LGG 60 cable ladders in various widths are used, around 6,500 KDU bracket holders, also in various lengths and types, and around 7,300 meters of RG 60 cable trays are also installed.
