The facing masonry must be secured against buckling and also be able to dissipate high wind forces into the load-bearing component. Depending on the material of the load-bearing interior wall, this is performed by JLA cavity wall anchors or brick tie anchors. The JLA dowel anchor is a cavity wall anchor pre-mounted with dowels for the subsequent facing of masonry walls made of solid brick or concrete walls. There is no need to bend it into the facing shell thanks to its corrugated shape. JLA cavity wall anchors are made of stainless steel of corrosion resistance class III as standard.
