The US washer is a versatile accessory, but is mainly used for channel-bolt connections. For example, a hot-rolled profile in combination with a hook-head t-bolt and washer requires the use of high tightening torques. The washer in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7093-1 and 7089 also ensures steel-steel contact between the attachment part and the anchor channel. It is also used for clamp connections, clamping claws and pressure bolts. US washers are available in various dimensions, hardnesses and designs (galvanised or hot-dip galvanised steel, A4 stainless steel).
