Thermal bridges caused by geometry and materials are a typical weak point for thermal insulation in the wall base area above the basement ceiling. Wall base elements close the gap in the interrupted insulation layer and thus minimise heat loss via the building base. The elements have national technical approval according to ETA-18/1063 and help to reliably reduce thermal bridges in accordance with DIN 4108-2 and EnEV.
ISOMUR® wall base elements are specifically designed for use in masonry residential buildings. As a connection between the external wall insulation and the insulation above the foundation slab, the non-absorbent elements ensure continuous and effective thermal insulation of the building envelope. ISOMUR® plus elements can be installed in seismic zones 1 to 3 according to DIN EN 1998-1, Eurocode 8. For masonry walls with lower loads, ISOMUR® light offers a more economical solution. Different strength classes provide a high degree of flexibility for a wide range of applications.
