The thermally insulating H-BAU Technik ISOPRO® concrete-to-concrete connection elements reliably create a frictional connection between external concrete components and internal concrete components. The load is transferred across the joint by tie bars, shear bars and a compression component. Depending on the ISOPRO® type, the latter is designed as a thrust bearing made of special concrete (IP elements) or as a steel thrust rod (IPT elements). The ISOPRO® insulation is 80 mm thick to guarantee reliable thermal separation of the reinforced concrete components. The usability of the elements is verified by ETA-17/0466 in connection with the general type approval no. Z-15.7-354 and the general technical approval no. Z-15.7-243.
