JORDAHL JWP windposts and the associated JMA brick tie anchors are ideal for bracing facings in new energy-efficient buildings and in buildings with perforated façades. They replace cavity wall anchors when load-bearing walls are missing or support the facing masonry in applications affected by high wind loads. The JWP Windpost is a U-shaped construction with slots into which the brick tie anchors are inserted. JWP windposts are attached to transoms or ceilings made of reinforced concrete to absorb the loads floor by floor. They secure the masonry horizontally and reliably bridge the area of the thermal insulation or lightweight walls.
