ÖM Eye socket for introducing tensile forces into concrete components

ÖM eye sockets are used to transmit tensile forces into concrete components, such as those which occur during the transport of prefabricated elements. The eye sockets are concreted into the reinforced concrete components. A reinforcing bar is required as a suspension reinforcement to transfer the forces. For this purpose, a bar with the largest possible bar diameter is passed through the transverse hole and bent. Connections using JDS pressure bolts can also be braced against unintentional loosening in combination with an eye socket. ÖM eye sockets are available in galvanised steel or stainless steel (A4) and in various lengths and threads.
