JORDAHL support corbels are used in façade construction to fasten prefabricated parts in reinforced concrete. They each consist of a hat profile with four reinforcement bars welded to the end. The support corbels are used in particular for lattice and ribbon façades in which exposed concrete elements, e.g. parapet slabs, are often installed in front of the ceiling slabs. As a rule, two support corbels are used per parapet slab so that the loads are evenly distributed. The support corbels can be fixed to the reinforced concrete ceiling slabs using JORDAHL JTA anchor channels or suitable dowels.
