In 2023, the approximately 8-hectare Pater Eustachiuslaan solar park in the Dutch town of Aarle-Rixtel (municipality of Laarbeck) went into operation. The total of 14,000 solar panels generate an electrical output of up to 8.5 megawatts. Thanks to the ground-mounted photovoltaic system, 2,900 households can be supplied with electricity over the course of a year.
PohlCon Solar's two-support system was chosen for the substructure of the solar panels.
It enables various layout solutions, which - as in this case - allow a flexible approach to the landscape conditions. Around 180 tonnes of steel were used, and various types of profile rails were used. In addition to manufacturing the support system, PohlCon was also responsible for its planning and installation.
