The H-BAU Technik SINTON® impact sound insulation elements decouple stair flights and landings from walls in stairwell systems and so prevent the transmission of impact sound into adjacent living and working areas. They can be installed in masonry and in concrete walls. The stair landings and flights can be constructed in in-situ concrete or as prefabricated elements. The elements transmit positive and negative shear forces and horizontal forces, depending on the design. In addition to load-bearing impact sound insulation elements, the SINTON® S self-adhesive insulation board, which is installed between stair flights or landings and walls, additionally prevents sound transmission between the building components.
