With the Wireless Charging Protection System (WCPS) for the safe, contactless charging of Automated Guided Vehicles and Autonomous Mobile Robots, PohlCon was able to trump at two trade fairs in the world of autonomous and automated energy supply.
As part of the International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management (LogiMAT) in Stuttgart (March 11 to 13), we presented our wireless charging infrastructure portfolio at an extensive stand together with robot and charging system manufacturers Wiferion, Synaos, Continental Mobile Robots, Omron, Kuka and Sherpa Robotics. Our in-ground system and our plateau system were used on the “Interoperability Hub” of the 32 square meter area for mobile robots. The feedback from trade fair visitors was consistently positive. On the second day of the trade fair, we also made our partnership with Omron, the leading manufacturer of technologically advanced products in the field of industrial automation, public: PohlCon is now the official system supplier for charging infrastructure for Omron's mobile robot division.
WCPS in local public transport
As a highlight at the Hannover Messe, the world's leading trade fair for the industrial sector (March 31 to April 4), we were able to present the "Advantage" transport project funded by the federal government, in which PohlCon participated as a cooperation partner for the charging infrastructure sector. The aim was to charge electric shuttles for local public transport autonomously and contactlessly. The charging infrastructure unit developed by PohlCon to accommodate the charging technology ensures a smooth transfer of energy. Together with our practice partner, Deutsche Bahn, we presented the application of the system at the trade fair. Numerous companies as well as representatives of smaller municipalities showed great interest in implementing the system. We look forward to being part of innovative and promising transport projects in the near future.

Regional trade fair with record attendance
The eltefa electrical trade fair in Stuttgart (March 25 to 27), which attracted a record number of visitors this year, gave us the opportunity to showcase the diverse PohlCon product range in the areas of cable management and underfloor systems. The focus was on our product solutions for production facilities, maintenance of function and fire protection, data centers, tunnels and underfloor systems.
We were also able to impress numerous visitors at the BetonTage in Ulm with our product and system solutions from the shell construction sector. Europe's largest trade congress for the concrete and precast concrete industry offered plenty of opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas from March 11 to 13.
We would like to thank our customers for the stimulating discussions and look forward to making numerous new contacts.
