The structurally approved channel is made of hot-dip galvanized steel and enables the secure fastening and transfer of loads in the longitudinal and transverse direction of the channel. Thanks to its anchorless shape, the JTB-LA can be installed flush and flush with the surface in slim concrete elements. Overlapping with the reinforcement is virtually eliminated by eliminating the need for fixing anchors - even in heavily reinforced components.
The installation of the JTB-LA saves an immense amount of time and work: it can be carried out in a single step before or during concreting. Another advantage that underlines the user-friendliness of the JTB-LA.
Variety that pays off
With a stock length of 3000 mm, the JTB-LA profiled metal sheet channel is available in several variants: in profile widths of 60 mm and 100 mm and in material thicknesses of 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm; the profile height is always 24 mm.
The channel can be shortened individually and does not require additional end anchors.
Due to the large number of variants, various load requirements can be met, making the JTB-LA a flexible application solution in the planning process.
Due to the special anchorless design, the force is not transferred to the component by spreading the concrete, but by means of an undercut: during concreting, the perforated channel legs interlock automatically in the concrete. The subsequent attachment of metal sheets also takes place in just one work step. Fasteners, such as self-tapping self-drilling screws, are held securely in the back of the channel and in the polystyrene foam with which the JTB-LA is filled.
