In this way, PohlCon is actively committed to modern building with the goal of a high quality of life. We are looking forward to realize new projects with our sound insulation systems and upcoming participations at the world's leading trade fair Interlift.
After waiting more than two and a half years due to the pandemic, Interlift 2022 took place in Augsburg at the end of April. Almost 350 manufacturers from 40 nations came to the internationally reknowned platform of the elevators industry this year. Since its premiere 31 years ago, it has offered a detailed overview of what the world market has to offer and gives all participants not only the chance to present product innovations to the public, but above all to meet business partners, visitors and other exhibitors in person. This opportunity is more important than ever.
PohlCon sound insulation elements
We also took the opportunity to present our product solutions in the field of sound insulation at this year's Interlift. These were the TÜV-certified elevator insulation JAI by our brand JORDAHL as well as sealing solutions by H-BAU Technik and cable management systems by PUK. A special focus was on the new JAI type variants, which are specifically designed for freight elevator systems and systems with backpack suspension and are suitable for new and existing installations in all types of buildings.
The innovative product systems ensure reliable acoustic decoupling and reduce the introduced structure-borne noise by up to 26 dB at the transition between the lift guide rail and the shaft wall. In combination with our sealing solutions, the shaft is protected against moisture penetration and our cable management systems additionally enable safe cable routing on the shaft wall.
