BetonTage 2022 – PohlCon was there

For the 66th time, Europe's largest trade congress of the concrete and precast industry took place - the BetonTage 2022. In the Congress Centrum in Ulm, more than 2000 participants from 20 nations used the congress days and evening events for lively exchange of knowledge and networking. In addition to presentations by renowned speakers from practice and research, the trade visitors were able to inform themselves about the latest developments in the machine, software and supplier industries in an extensive exhibition.

PohlCon portfolio: Strength by diversity

PohlCon was also among the participants of this year's BetonTage. Our experts presented various products of our brands JORDAHL and H-BAU Technik. Among others, the JTA anchor channel with the matching JVB toothed straps, the JDA-FT-KL punching shear reinforcement with innovative click-in assembly system, the newly developed PENTAFLEX^® module for reliable sealing of reinforcement connections, the fresh concrete composite system SECUFLEX^® for reliable, flat sealing and the FERBOX^® 2.0 reverse bending connectors for secure connection of reinforced concrete parts were among the products on display. Our technical consultants were able to enjoy lively interest in our product solutions and pleasant discussions.

Trend-setting solutions from PohlCon

In addition, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Mazen Ayoubi, Team Leader Research JORDAHL and Professor of Building Materials Science at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, spoke about the development of the memory steel connector - a novel connecting element for thin-walled carbon concrete components - and the initial results of the associated demonstrator test facility. His presentation fitted ideally into the theme of the conference "Sustainable Construction with Concrete" and showed a very positive response, followed by many requests - clear evidence that sustainability is desired or already practiced in many areas of the industry.
