The JORDAHL® elevator insulation JAI is used for the acoustic decoupling of the elevator and thus ensures a significant insulation of the emerging structure-borne sound waves by up to 26 dB at the transition between the elevator guide rail and the shaft wall. The element consists of a sandwich construction of several steel and elastomer plates, which reliably reduce the introduced structure-borne sound without compromising on safety. The guide rail is connected to the JAI element with the aid of an attachment of the respective elevator manufacturer. To ensure maximum flexibility during installation, JORDAHL® JAI elevator insulation is available with one round hole and one slot connection.
Advantages
- Structure-borne sound insulation of up to 26 dB (confirmed by the Fraunhofer Institute)
- Airborne noise reduction of 12 dB in adjacent rooms, according to reference measurement
- System solution for noise reduction and attachment in elevator construction
- Easy attachment to the anchor rail
- High flexibility due to mounting on attachments of elevator manufacturers
- Increased process reliability in the soundproofing of elevators
- More living comfort due to lower noise pollution
- Calculation examples to take account of the deformation of the elevator guide rail
