PohlCon at the BetonTage 2022 trade congress

The BetonTage is Europe's largest trade congress of the concrete and precast industry. More than 2000 participants from 20 nations will have the opportunity for intensive knowledge exchange and networking from June 21 to 23 – both in person and via livestream. During the congress days and evening events, trade visitors will be offered an extensive program with renowned speakers from research and practice and a wide-ranging exhibition of the machinery, software and supply industry.

With a focus on change

Not only the exhibition venue of this year's BetonTage, the Congress Centrum in Ulm, is newly chosen, but also the content of the congress deals with new, future-oriented ideas, products and companies around the topic of sustainable building with concrete. To illustrate that PohlCon is also increasingly adapting to the changes in the construction industry, we will present our modern product solutions by our brands JORDAHL and H-BAU on the upper floor of the Congress Center.

PohlCon applies for innovation award

On the first plenary day, the lecture program will be devoted to the area of "Innovative solutions from the supplier industry". In this context, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Mazen Ayoubi, Team Leader Research JORDAHL and Professor of Building Materials Science at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, will talk about the development of the memory steel connector – a novel connecting element for thin-walled carbon concrete components – and the first results of the associated demonstrator test facility. With this product, we are also competing for the Innovation Award of the supplier industry for concrete components, which will be awarded during the opening event of BetonTage 2022.
